BA Apparel Has Gone GLOBAL... A Partnership with 30 For Freedom

At Born Again Apparel, we believe that every piece of custom gear tells a story. Sometimes that story is about a local church, business, a sports team, or a community event. But this past November, we had the honor of playing a small part in a story that spanned the entire globe—and changed lives on every continent.

We are incredibly proud to highlight our partnership with Brent Silkey, the founder of 30 For Freedom, and his incredible team during their journey in the Great World Race.

Seven Marathons, Seven Continents, One Mission

The Great World Race is a feat of human endurance that most can only imagine: seven marathons, on seven continents, in just seven days. Brent and a dedicated team of runners took on this monumental challenge, pushing through exhaustion and extreme conditions in:

  • Cape Town, South Africa

  • Wolf’s Fang, Antarctica

  • Perth, Australia

  • Abu Dhabi, UAE

  • Faro, Portugal

  • Cartagena, Colombia

  • Miami, FL

For us at BA Apparel, seeing our gear on every continent was a "pinch-me" moment. It marked a new chapter for us to know what God has been able to do with our company and amazing to see our home-grown brand travel.

The Real Victory: $1 Million Raised

While we are thrilled to see our hats go global, the true highlight of this partnership is the impact made by 30 For Freedom. Through this race, Brent and his team raised over $1 million to rescue women from human sex trafficking.

This mission sits at the heart of why we do what we do. 30 For Freedom is an organization dedicated to bringing hope and restoration to the most vulnerable, and we are humbled that we were able to play even a small part with Brent and his team for such a historic undertaking.

Looking Forward

As we look back on the photos of our beanies in the Antarctic snow and our racing caps under the Abu Dhabi sun, we are reminded that apparel is more than just fabric—it’s a banner for a cause.

We want to extend a massive congratulations to Brent Silkey and the entire 30 For Freedom team. Thank you for taking us around the world with you, and more importantly, thank you for the life-changing work you do every day.
